Day Packages
Selkirk Tangiers offers a variety of Day Heli Skiing options to suit your budget.
Whether this is your first time heli skiing or you are returning for another day in our legendary terrain, one of the options below will provide you with the experience of a lifetime. All of our Day Heli Skiing packages include: Meals (full buffet breakfast, gourmet mountain lunch, and après ski snacks), Barryvox Pulse avalanche transceiver, snow safety training, powder performance ski or snowboard rental, and ACMG and/or IFMGA guiding services.
Day Star Private
This is the ultimate day skiing experience! Flying with your private Eurocopter A-Star helicopter, your guide will take your group of up to four down the ski runs of your dreams. Available from the heli pad at the Hillcrest Hotel or inquire about pick-up options from other private locations.
The Day Star Private package includes 5,000 vertical metres at $6,700 plus HST, with capacity for up to 4 people. Extra vertical can be purchased for $556 per 1,000 vertical metres per group plus HST.
The Experience
The opportunity to go heli skiing has never been so easy! The Experience is a single day option that is ideal for people who want to try the sport for the first time. A relaxed pace to the day allows you to discover just how fantastic heli skiing really is. Enjoy your first helicopter flight, unbelievable vistas, legendary powder, and the thrill of skiing untouched terrain. This package operates from Wednesday to Saturday throughout the ski season. We use the Bell 205 helicopter which accommodates ten skiers and two guides.
The Experience package includes three runs at $747 per person plus HST. Additional runs can be purchased at a cost of $58.93 per run plus HST (dependent on group consensus, weather, and time constraints).
The Advanced
Ideal for experienced skiers and snowboarders looking for a big day of heli skiing. Enjoy the thrill of skiing untouched terrain and challenging yourself to ski a variety of runs. Previous heli ski experience is recommended. We use the Bell 205 helicopter which accommodates up to 11 skiers and a guide.
The Advanced package includes 3,000 vertical metres at $853 per person plus HST. Additional vertical metres can be purchased at a cost of $95 per 1,000 metres plus HST (group consensus required).
Heli-Assisted Touring
Selkirk Tangiers offers heli-assisted ski touring to get you out into our incredible terrain. This package requires a minimum of three guests. Your day includes a helicopter lift in the morning, a full day of ski touring with your guide, with a lift out at the end of the day. Ski touring equipment or a split-board is required (not included).
The Heli-Assisted Touring package is available upon request at a cost of $635 per person plus HST.
All Day Packages are available from Dec. 14, 2011 to Apr. 14, 2012. Rates are quoted in Canadian Dollars and are subject to 12% HST.
